MOBILE, Ala. – The William Carey women's Track & Field Team scored 136 points at the 2017 SSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships to finish 3rd overall. Team Leaderboard Brenau – 233 Points Loyola – 177 Points William Carey – 148 Points Mobile – 134 Points Dalton State – 34 Points Brewton-Parker – 6 Points Bethel – 5 Points Former Lady Panther Annie Cooks won the SSAC Conference Champion in the 4x100 and 4x400 relay. She also place 2nd in the 200 meter dash and 3rd in 100 meter dash. "I'm so proud of this group of ladies," said Head Coach Blake Hegstrom. "We entered the second day not even close to being in the hunt with only 16 points but these ladies continued to battle and worked themselves right back into contention."
