Trailing the whole game, the Eagles did what they could to defeat the Salthawks last night. Senior Corrigan Bartlett didn’t go down without a fight, racking up three RBIs, two hits, two walks, a double and a triple. In one last attempt to take the game, the Eagles scored four runs in the top of the seventh but fell short to Hutchinson 9-6. The Eagles will travel to Kansas University to play Shawnee Mission East and Ozark, Mo. on Friday.
