The Mustangs took to the road and played a scrappy Riverbank Bruins team. The Bruins jumped out to a 2-0 lead with some timely hitting. The Mustangs came back to take the lead for good with a four run 3rd inning. The big blow came on David Montesino's two-run single. Mustangs hurler Wake Widner threw four scoreless innings with Julian Sainz coming in to close the game out for Sainz' second save of the season.
