The Lady Panther and Panther basketball teams advanced to State Quarterfinals with their victories in 2nd round action. The Lady Panthers defeated Moss Point 58-40 Friday night to advance, while the Panthers defeated Sumrall 63-54 Saturday night to advance. Both teams will play Thursday, March 3rd, in Jackson is State Quarterfinal action. The Lady Panthers will play Byhalia at 8:30 p.m. at Jackson State University, and the Panthers will take on Leake Central at 5:30 p.m. in the Mississippi Coliseum.
