Lost to Columbus East 82-50

·        Daniel Kuhn won the 400 by setting a new school record with a time of 48.67
·        Alton Anspaugh won the 1600 and 3200
·        DeShaun French won the 110 hurdles
·        The team also won the 4 x 800 and 4 x 100 relays

This was our last meet of the regular season and it was against our toughest opponent of the year. Columbus East is an undefeated track team that is full of state caliber runners. We had a lot of areas that we improved on from last Saturday when we won the Greensburg Invitational. I was pleased again with how Chandler Martin has improved in the high jump and the consistency of our pole vaulters--Ben Lock, Scott Gill, and Colin Mohr. Our throwers have continued to improve under Coach Stout's leadership, and we had several personal bests in that area. We will need to continue to get better if we want to win conference next week, but the potential for our ultimate goal is still in reach
