Lincoln Consolidated School District is pleased to announce that it received a 2-year grant totaling $110,000.00 from the United Way of Northwest Arkansas as part of their Children Living in Poverty Initiative. The Lincoln Alliance for Outreach Opportunities will provide Lincoln Community members and students a "hand up" with personalized learning and career certification scholarships focusing on employment skills and education necessary for work opportunities. These opportunities will help provide a pathway out of poverty by connecting skilled employees with potential employers staying in Lincoln. LCSD's plan will connect individuals with their perfect outreach opportunity to strengthen perseverance, social, and employment skills necessary for higher paid jobs.
