BHS boys, girls win Logan County Titles

BHS BOYS, GIRLS WIN LOGAN COUNTY TITLES

Bellefontaine, which won both the boys and girls Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail titles last spring, faced off with the host Raiders, who won both the girls and boys CBC Mad River division championships a year ago. BHS won both the boys and girls meets Tuesday. Bellefontaine’s boys won 12 of 17 events to score 146 points. Ben Logan finished second with 125 points, Indian Lake took third with 44 points and Riverside clipped Calvary Christian 18-17 for fourth. It was a similar finish in the girls meet as BHS won 11 of 17 events to score 152.5 points, the Raiders placed second with 141 points, the Lakers were third with 31.5 points, the Pirates were fourth with nine points and the Spartans were fifth with eight points. “We are quite pleased to have won both the girls and boys meets,” said BHS head coach Ben Davis. “Benjamin Logan has a great program having come off of winning both girls and boys Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division titles last year. We need to maintain our focus to improve and not get complacent.”
