BOLTON FALL SPORTS PREVIEW
Cross Country – Coach Manthe has answered the call to coach not only the boys but the girls cross country teams as well. Expectations higher than ever, these teams are preparing for several trips to Nashville, Alabama, and more.
Girl’s Soccer – After the start of a rocky season where the starting goalie was sidelined along with other talented members, the girl’s soccer team responded with a 3-win streak that reinvigorated spirits. The girls are determined to answer any obstacle this 15-16 season has for them.
Volleyball – With only one senior in the columns for the girl’s volleyball team, this season’s roster is full of young and eager talent. The junior varsity has begun a tear of wins in attempt to prepare to enter varsity roles and begin their own dynasty in the years to come.
Varsity Football – Because of the unexpected amount of student athletes attending the football team, the Wildcat’s schedule has been more or less remade. Bartlett rivalry games are a thing of the past and Millington has stepped up to the challenge of the hype Bartlett has left behind. This varsity team looks to improve morality and all expectations of Bolton athletics as a whole.
Golf – While not the most attended sport at Bolton, the golf team looks to greatly expand while attending tournaments to popularize the sport among student athletes.
